About us
Our Community Commitment
Welcome to the beautiful Western North Carolina mountains and the Maggie Valley Country Club Estates neighborhood.
Our community has two distinct entrances: the East side, which follows along Maggie Valley’s famous Jonathan Creek before climbing upwards, and the West side, which ambles around the Maggie Valley Country Club and Resort. Together we can make our neighborhood the best it can be!

Monthly meetings are normally held on the 3rd Thursday each month, February through November, at 4pm. Specific dates and location will be posted for each upcoming meeting.
SEPTEMBER BOARD MEETING MINUTES
Here are the highlights from the recent Board of Directors' meeting with updates on the activities in the association. If you have any specific questions, please contact Alicia Cox, President, at 803-554-6293.
MEMBERSHIP - There are 201current members of the POA. If you know of any neighbors that may be interested in joining, please have them contact the Board using the email button above.

Signs have been ordered and received and the installation process will begin the week of 9/28 and should be complete by mid-October.
Several people have requested their wooden sign, so if you would like to have your old sign please contact us and we will arrange for this.

ROAD COMMITTEE - Contact Jim Barrett 727-580-4770
- Work on the roads, ditches and culverts is ongoing.
- BHC Enterprises (our mowing contractor) is budgeted to mow/trim every 5 to 6 weeks during the growing season.
- Please remember that it is the property owners responsibility to keep their ditches, culverts and sides of road clear, cut and in working order between mows and throughout the year.
- It is also important to educate your personally hired landscape contractors that ditches are not to be used for disposal of yard debris of any kind (leaves, grass, limbs etc.)
SECURITY ISSUES - Contact Bill Gunn 828-400-0070
- Bears are back in full force, so please be aware. They are not just nighttime visitors, but frequenting home visits throughout the day. Please remember that garbage, bird feeders and hummingbird feeders are bear magnets - so keep these items secured. Air horns are sometimes a deterrent, but not always, so please practice safety and always have eyes on your pets.
- Please continue to take security precautions, install cameras and motion detector lights if you are able (this can also help with wildlife encounters). Be vigilant in watching for anything that seems suspect. For a nominal fee, Duke Energy will install a street light on your property that will provide additional security.
COMMUNITY BUSINESS-
The next board meeting will be held on Octpber 10, 2026 at 4 pm.
The board meets at the Maggie Valley Chamber of commerce office located at 3933 Soco Road directly behind the MV ABC store. All monthly Board meetings are open to the public, however if you would like to speak at or present an issue/concern we ask that you notify the Board at at least 5 days prior to rhe meeting date, This way we can put it on the agenda so that adequate time and attention can be given to you.
